Toxic Plastic: Don't Drink the Water!

The National Geographic Adventure blog has a very informative post all about bisephonal A, a manmade chemical found in polycarbonate plastics (included in the #7 category of labeling).
It's the stuff that Camelbak (until fall 2007) and Nalgene water bottles (until the end of April 2008) were made of.

Please clink on the title above to go to the article to get informed and decide whether or not you want to upgrade your water bottles to newer ones that are BPA-free. Or maybe just try to stop using plastic altogether.

Thanks to Rebecca for sending me the link!
